KVH is structural, building timber made from coniferous species (usually spruce) used extensively in modern timber structures. This material is characterized by very high strength and durability. KVH timber is planed and chamfered on four sides, with a smooth finish. Elements are finger-jointed lengthwise (elements up to 6m long are usually solid) - up to 12m long. Thanks to excellent drying to a moisture content of +15%/-3%, KVH timber is resistant to damage, fungi and insects. It also guarantees dimensional stability. KVH is available in three quality classes based on board surface: Si – board attractive on both sides; planed on four sides, edges chamfered on four sides – category A, intended for places where the board will be a visible, decorative element after installation. NSi – board planed on four sides, edges chamfered on four sides – industrial class for less exposed places. NSi/Si – board attractive on one side.
